Rule of Thirds
Rule of Thirds is a compositional technique that lets people see objects in a way that you don't see them everyday. This compositional technique is used by designers, photographers, and is used in paintings. The photo on the top left has a Rule of Thirds grid. The main focus of the photo which is the bird is set in the top and middle left sectors of the photo. As humans everyday see things as centered. the Rule of Thirds doesn't lets us do that. What the Rule of Thirds is in general is just a grid that you are suppose to imagine in your head as you take a photo. You can put it on the right third or the left third but if you center the main focus it will be a boring photo for us humans.

Compositional Techniques

I think my image is so visually interesting mainly not for its compositional techniques but for the main interest of the photo. I have added more contrast and really tried to make the red writing in this photo to stand out in the stage of editing. If I was going to change one thing in the photo when I was taking, I would change the angle of the shot. I feel that the photo could have been more complex and better. The compositional techniques that I display in this photo are The Rule of Thirds, and Framing. The thing to me that is the most attracting  in this photo is the art piece. This photo shows dominance and is more appealing than anything else in this photo. People in their daily lives see everything directly centred so The Rule of Thirds makes things that we see regularly in life from a different point of view.
